Natural river restoration with full reuse of treated dredged sediment.
The Gangneung Sinricheon natural-river project addressed odor caused by organic pollution and deposited sludge, washing, separating and improving dredged soil for use as ecological-restoration resources.
Particle separation, Soil Washing, soil-improvement plants and washed-aggregate Capping were integrated to improve water quality and maximize on-site reuse.

Collect sludge deposited from organic pollution sources such as livestock facilities and fish-processing operations.
Separate gravel, coarse sand, fine sand, clay and sludge into recoverable aggregate and fine material.
Dewatered sludge cake is converted into improved soil for planting, fill and cover applications.
